Canon EF
Canon EOS-1 V High Speed
-
Released in 2000 as the successor to the EOS-1N, the Canon EOS-1V was Canon’s final flagship professional 35mm SLR. It introduced a 45-point autofocus system, improved weather sealing, a magnesium-alloy body and faster performance throughout, while retaining the familiar handling and EF lens compatibility of the EOS-1 series. With the PB-E2 booster and NP-E2 battery pack, the High Speed configuration can shoot at up to 10 fps, with predictive AI Servo autofocus operating at up to 9 fps.
For professional photographers, the EOS-1V remains one of the most capable film SLRs ever produced. Its fast AF, robust construction, 1/8000s shutter and 1/250s flash sync make it particularly well suited to fashion, editorial, sport and location work where speed and reliability matter. It also gives access to the extensive Canon EF lens system, making the transition between film and Canon digital workflows especially straightforward.

Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM
-
The Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM is the standard professional zoom of the EF system, covering wide-angle through short telephoto in a single lens. The constant f/2.8 aperture, revised optical design and fast USM autofocus make it a dependable choice for fashion, portrait, editorial, event and location work where speed and flexibility matter more than carrying multiple primes.
Compared with the original 24-70mm f/2.8L, the Mark II is lighter, sharper across the frame and improved in control of chromatic aberration and distortion. Its range covers most day-to-day professional assignments, while the weather-resistant L-series construction and close focusing make it particularly practical as an all-purpose working lens.

The Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM is a professional telephoto zoom designed for fast-paced portrait, fashion, sports, event and location work. Its constant f/2.8 aperture gives consistent exposure throughout the zoom range, while the longer focal lengths provide strong compression and controlled subject separation. The second-generation version improved optical performance, close focusing and image stabilisation over its predecessor.
For professional use, its strength is versatility: fast ring-type USM autofocus, effective image stabilisation and weather-resistant L-series construction make it reliable both handheld and on set. It covers everything from tighter portraiture to distant action without the need to change lenses, while maintaining high image quality across the zoom range.

Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM
-
The Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM is a professional standard prime built around an exceptionally fast f/1.2 aperture. That combination gives strong low-light capability and very shallow depth of field, with a natural perspective that makes it particularly useful for portrait, fashion, editorial and available-light work.
What sets it apart from more conventional 50mm lenses is the rendering at wider apertures. The f/1.2 design allows pronounced subject separation and a softer transition into out-of-focus areas while still retaining the versatility of a normal focal length. Ring-type USM autofocus and L-series construction make it a practical working lens as well as a distinctive creative option.

Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM
-
The Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM is a professional short telephoto prime built around an exceptionally fast f/1.2 aperture. Introduced in 2006 as the successor to the original 85mm f/1.2L, the Mark II retained the same 8-element, 7-group optical formula but introduced updated electronics and an autofocus system around 1.8× faster than its predecessor. Its floating optical design and aspherical element help control aberrations across the focusing range.
For portrait, fashion and editorial work, the combination of 85mm perspective and f/1.2 depth of field gives strong subject separation and a very distinctive rendering. It is especially useful where precise focus placement and background control are central to the image, while ring-type USM and full-time manual override keep it practical within a professional Canon EF workflow.

-
The Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM is a professional macro lens capable of true 1:1 reproduction, designed for product, beauty, still-life and close-detail work. Its Hybrid Image Stabilizer was developed specifically to compensate for both angular and shift movement, which becomes increasingly important at close focusing distances, while the internal focusing design keeps the lens length constant during operation.
Beyond macro work, the 100mm focal length and f/2.8 aperture also make it a strong short telephoto for portrait and editorial use. The lens combines high sharpness with useful working distance, fast ring-type USM autofocus and L-series weather-resistant construction, making it a practical option both in studio and on location.
